It’s a topic that just coming up. Why is that? Is there a scam at Balance of Nature that I’m not aware of? I see some reviews asking if Balance of Nature is a hoax or Balance of Nature scam. That seems a little odd to me but apparently there are enough people asking so let’s look into it.

I have been a customer of Balance of Nature before so I’m familiar with the company and the sales process. But I decided to work my way through and see where this is coming from.

Balance of Nature on Amazon

Balance of Nature sells products on Amazon. Nothing crazy there. Not even a Subscribe and Save option. It is completely a normal order where you buy the product when you want to just like every other product out there. Definitely not a scam.

Balance of Nature Website

When I ordered from Balance of Nature I did so on their website balanceofnature.com. It was a very simple ordering process except for 1 aspect that was a little different. They charge a membership fee of $24.95. This is not unheard of. The idea of a subscription has been around for ages.

I could see how this membership fee could be confusing though because most ecommerce companies I’ve seen don’t charge a fee to get a subscription. Most offer discounts to get you to agree to recurring orders. Balance of Nature offers lower pricing, monthly recurring orders, and 30 day returns for their subscription members. You can still order their products without being a member, it just costs more.

Balance of Nature call center

Most of Balance of Nature’s radio ads direct you to a phone number as well. So I called in. The call was a pretty normal experience.

How do you Cancel Balance of Nature?

It appears in the past the only method of cancelling a Balance of Nature recurring shipment is to call in. From reviews I’ve read this was the biggest frustration and reason many people thought they were being scammed. I was able to log into my account on their website and cancel my subscription with no problems.

Is Balance of Nature a Scam?

I don’t see anything that would make Balance of Nature scam. In the past there were a few FDA warnings about making health claims so maybe this was confusing to people. Some of the customer testimonials do seem a little too good to be true, but nothing too crazy. No Balance of Nature is not a scam. Just a supplement company that tries to get you to commit to monthly product.

Is Balance of Nature a hoax?

No. Definitely not. The products are actually very good. Read my review of Balance of Nature vitamins here.
